Campaign Oversight

In the wake of the 2003 amendments to the code of judicial conduct, a judicial response committee was formed to monitor judicial campaigns and to respond publicly to false or unfair attacks on North Carolina judges by the media, the public, or candidates. The eight-member committee is comprised of attorneys and judges and is part of the chief justice's commission on professionalism.
